Land preparation: Deep plough the land with cultivator and then rotavator.

Pit: If by post hole digger - 2ft (depth) x 1ft (dia). If by JCB 2ft (depth) x 2ft (length) x 2ft (Width).

Planting: Mix the top soil with well decomposed farm yard manure or vermicompost (2kg) and fill the pit. Plant the saplings in such a way atleast 6 inches of sapling are above the ground level. Don't compact the soil by hands or legs, let it settle on its own.

Irrigation: Everyday for First 30 days. One day after another for 90days and then till 1 year irrigate twice a week. Then once a week for 3 years. Don't irrigate when there is enough moisture in the soil. You have to alter this according to your soil conditions.

Maintenance: Tissue culture teak requires minimal maintenance, but it's essential to keep the plantation weed-free, especially during the first 3 years.

Pruning: Prune lower branches regularly to promote straight growth and reduce knot formation in the wood.

Pest and disease management: Tissue culture teak is relatively resistant to pests and diseases, but it's essential to monitor the plantation for signs of infestation or illness.
